Becoming…

  • STPLN Malmöhusvägen 5 Malmö Sweden (map)

What if, for an hour, you could embody another being?

Imagine stepping into an imaginary world where the hedge, the crow and the sun become your teachers. Through play, movement, collective imagination, you could inhabit a landscape and learn ways of reciprocity, interdependence and care.

A participatory experience where the city transforms into another world and only exists while we inhabit it together.

This event is the culmination of The Participatory Stage—a six-week summer artist residency at STPLN. Throughout the project, resident artists Sarah Kaushik, Tangmo Ladapha, and Nidhi Jacob explored participatory theatre and urban design as creative tools for civic engagement and spatial activation within today’s complex social and political climate. This residency program has been made possible with the support from Culture Moves Europe.

When: Tuesday, 11 August (17:00–18:00) & Wednesday, 12 August (17:00–18:00, followed by an artist talk and discussion).
