The Bodies in Dialogue is a festival for cultural resistance, emphasising communication between different traditions and how cultural resistance is expressed through the body. The festival departs from the resistance practice of Capoeira and from the Forbidden Music project to welcome and embrace various traditions and expressions.
The festival will host a series of workshops on embodied resistance, an interactive exhibition of the instruments made collectively during the Forbidden Music project, and a music playground made by Skrot Musik, capoeira trainings, music performances, Brazilian food by Grazy, traditional handcrafts, collective jams, and much more.
Do you want a festival shirt as a memory? bring a shirt or bag and you will have the possibility to, for a small fee, do a wood printing of the hand carved festival art.
The festival is completely free of charge.
