how to regulate your nervous system and how to change your perception of what is happening
Stress!
a word, a response, a stimulus, a mental strain, an emotional tension...no matter what the clinical definition is, each one of us has and will experience stress. It is embedded in the fabric of our culture and lives. Stress is seen as the health epidemic of the 21st century, while burnout has reached our vocabularies regardless of our profession.
Cultural workers and creators constitute a significant portion of the statistics for individuals with symptoms of exhaustion and diagnosis in Sweden today. Many testify to the difficulty of pausing the creative process, where working with culture and design is a constant endeavor. Nevertheless, research shows that high levels of stress inhibits creativity.
Psychologist Karina Minda discusses why even creatives sometimes need to rest. She will give tips on how to regulate your nervous system and how to change your perception of what is happening in your life - from a threat to an opportunity to grow. It could be your best time investment ever, where you'll learn about tools and the knowledge you may need to lead a healthier and more balanced life.
We will learn about:
What stress is
How to recognize positive and negative stress
Tips and tools to deal with stress
Creative ways to transform your perception and connect with your resources
