This workshop is for members of The Lab and The House only.
Pitching is part of everyday life for creatives — whether we’re applying for funding, inviting collaborators, presenting a project, or simply introducing our work in a room. Yet many of us struggle to talk about what we do without feeling uncomfortable, over-explaining, or like we’re “selling ourselves.”
This hands-on workshop reframes pitching as an act of clarity rather than performance. Participants will gain practical knowledge about how pitching works, common best practices, and concrete tools they can use to structure and shape their own pitch.
During the session, participants will work step by step on their own pitch, using guided exercises and frameworks. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have:
A clear understanding of what makes a strong, credible pitch
Practical tools and frameworks they can reuse
A first draft of their own pitch, tailored to their current practice and goals, which they can continue refining after the workshop
The workshop is interactive, practice-based, and designed for self-employed professionals within the Cultural and Creative Industries.
