STPLN is an open, democratic, and inclusive meeting place in Malmö. To make our house as fair and accessible as possible, we’re launching a
new Open Call process. You don’t need a big budget or years of experience to apply. We care about your idea and how it brings people
together.
Make the Space Yours
Events in our free spaces are run on a self-organized basis. This means we provide the professional framework and the space for free, while you run the show.
What STPLN provides for free:
The Space: Access to our public ground floor area (Coworking + Mellanrummet).
Basic Tech & Furniture: Projector, screen, basic sound system (via iPad/phone), flexible tables, and chairs.
Kitchen Access: Full use of our equipped kitchen (pumps, mugs, plates, and glasses included—we are a proud plastic-free house!).
Staff Support: Up to 1 hour with our team to hand over keys/tags, test the tech, and publish your event in our official calendar.
What is expected of you as an organizer:
Marketing: You are responsible for promoting your event and reaching your audience.
Hosting: You manage the setup, welcoming your guests, and running the event.
Clean-up: You are responsible for leaving the space clean, tidy, and restoring the furniture to its original layout.

What categories are we looking for?
Application period: August 5 – 26, 2026.
Event period: September 2026 – February 2027.
Capacity note: To protect the house capacity, slots are limited (max 2 weekday evening events per night, and max 1 weekend event per week).
