Siren Song

A musical and creative exploration of how psychological well-being and climate engagement reinforce one another. Young female-minded participants become modern “sirens” — voices calling attention to both mental health resilience and the need to care for Nordic seas.

Siren Song is a Nordic collaborative project exploring the interconnection between young womxn’s psychological well-being (<30 yrs) and the health of Nordic maritime ecosystems, and how it can be strengthened through music-based co-creation, local nature engagement, and digital collaboration.

A musical and creative exploration of how psychological well-being and climate engagement reinforce one another. Young female-minded participants become modern “sirens”—voices calling attention to both mental health resilience and the need to care for Nordic seas.

One week of local workshops for a small group of female minded participants, led by the artistic director Andreya Frisk. Through these workshops we will dive into how music, coastal identity, emotional resilience, and climate awareness intertwine. The creative outcome of this journey will be shared in the Siren Song’s online Nordic Summit, happening in the autumn.

Siren Song is funded by Nordisk Kulturkontakt, and it's a collaboration between Wellbeing LAB (SE), Swinging Europe (DK), and Triskelion Norway (NOR).

Participation is free but limited spots, activities will take place at STPLN and around the coast. Activities will take place at STPLN and around the coast in Malmö.
