The Lab: A Year to Build, Together
We’ve just welcomed a new cohort into The Lab, STPLN’s cultural incubator — a diverse, capable and excited group of professional creatives at different stages of their practice.
Over the next year, The Lab will be a space for exchange, experimentation and long-term thinking. Participants will strengthen their practices through shared learning, peer support and new connections, while developing the tools and confidence needed to move forward in their work.
This year’s group spans a wide range of disciplines: visual art, writing, music, performance, design, illustration, curation, jewellery and silversmithing, graphic design, project leadership and creative production. Many work across disciplines, combining artistic practice with research, storytelling, coordination and collaboration.
What connects them is not a single field, but a shared curiosity and willingness to grow — individually and collectively. When they now begin their year in The Lab, we look forward to following their processes, ideas and collaborations as they take shape.
